there is something inexplicably amazing about this editorial. maybe the fact that the prominent eyes and nose of the model compliment that in leonard tsuguoharu foujita's artwork?? maybe it's the jil sander x raf simons collaborative effort? maybe it's tomoki sukezane's styling?? junji hata's photography???

i don't know. i won't question, i'll just accept. and bask.

so i was going to blog about this. about you. about how i want to stand on a chair and scream "F*CKING GET OVER YOURSELF!!!" at the top of my lungs. i was going to go into great detail about my position. lengthy explanation. in-depth reasoning... 

but i release my need to be "right".

i don't know many things. but what i do know, is that right now, there is an absolutely gorgeous sunset in west hollywood. my macbook does it no justice.

get into La Roux, a band so named for the singer, eleanor jackson's fire red hair. the brit's always do electro/synthpop well, no?

i want the editorials, the magazine covers, the runway shows, the fashion weeks, the brand campaigns, the dresses, the accessories, the [sky-high] shoes, the fabulous personal wardrobe, the street-style photographer hoping for a glimpse of me, the renowned photographers shooting me, the everlasting marriage [to a rocker?], love, success, wealth, vogue, elle, paris, milan, japan, karl lagerfeld, christopher bailey, alexander wang, valentino, alexander mcqueen, christophe decarnin, nicolas ghesquiere, kate&laura mulleavy, terry richardson, gilles bensimon, patrick demarchelier, steven meisel, mario testino, peter lindbergh, annie leibovitz, solve sundsbo, ... the list goes on.

when i go to sleep at night and when i wake up, this is what i dream about. because the real dream happens when your eyes are open, and if i get to choose what happens--since i get to choose what happens--this is what i choose: 

as much as i hold varying degrees of contempt for valentine's day (and yes, i blame you, Peter Bolac, for breaking my heart in 9th grade after wooing me for weeks before hand), the digby & iona stump ring is so adorable that it makes me wish i had a valentine to engrave my initials on its side with...!  i'm a sucker for a cool ring (*coughiweararingsize8cough*), but I'm also willing to accept any of the other cute v-day gifts found on the site (*coughfighting bears ringandkeyhole necklacecough*).
