    Quote of the Day

    taylor momsen

"Um, right now I’m trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that."
-Taylor Momsen, on whether she’s planning to follow the lead of stars like Wyclef Jean, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are making high-profile donations and pleas for help.

This quote gave me an immediate case of the sads.

I miss the days when life was simple, and Taylor Momsen was best known as Cindy Lou Who. Cindy Lou Who cared about Christmas, so I know she would also have cared about Haiti!

    Hello, Burberry [Spring 2010]

    burberry spring 2010

I am undoubtedly madly in love with Burberry. Effortless expression of certifiably English style? Yes. Please. The brand proves year over year that a fabulous (and oft understated) trench coat will never lead you astray.

[But let's be clear: while Harry Potter's own Emma Watson definitely brings magic to the ad, I've got my sights set on a Burberry campaign of my own in the future...]

Clash of the Titans [Movie Trailers]

i am a sucker for a good action movie, and Sam Worthington can obviously carry one (Terminator, Avatar)... in other words, CAN'T WAIT! & i hope he doesn't ever decide to go the disappointing Gerard Butler route-- lost the 300 body & now doing corny rom-com's.

Check out Worthington's interview on Jay Leno last month, and try not to love him even more:

Kanye West, spotted meeting a friend outside of a Jamba Juice in NY's SoHo, is clearly shooting this paparazzo the look of death. D@mn, if looks could kill...

They say that prior to this, he was in a meeting at the GAP offices... Now that's what I call irony! Y'all remember when he rapped about hating The GAP?? Allow me to refresh your memory:

If my manager insults me again / I will be assaulting him
After I f*ck the manager up / then I'm gonna shorten the register up
Let's go back, back to the Gap / Look at my check, wasn't no scratch
So if I stole, wasn't my fault / Yeah I stole, never got caught
They take me to the back and pat me / Askin' me about some khakis
But let some black people walk in / I bet you they show off their token blackie
Oh now they love Kanye, / let's put him all in the front of the store...

But hey, when he wrote that he was simply a college dropout trying to make it in the rap game.

Now he's the voice of this generation of this decade

    Not-So-Good Vibrations

I don't care that he was pretty much a complete crazy person when he was younger. I don't care that he has anger management issues. And I definitely don't care that he often lacks a sense of humour. Marky Mark will forever be a bad-@ss in Calvin Klein underwear. Don't even try to tell me that he didn't make you get all tingly in your knickers when he played Reese Witherspoon's completely psychotic boyfriend in Fear!!

But I digress... What I do care about, folks, is that today, in Beverly Hills, Mark Wahlberg is tying the knot with his long-time partner and the mother of his kids.

    It's a sad, sad day.

I'm not ashamed to openly weep.
