    Random Tandem

Currently in rotation: Chrisette Michele "Your Joy"

This song is such an incredibly touching song about a father and daughter relationship. I want this song to play when I take that first dance with my stepdad at my wedding (YEARS from now)....

Head to iTunes and handle that. Thanks.

    Dream On...

Once again, I have risen at the butt-crack of dawn to welcome the rising sun. No, not in a cute, romantic kind of way; it's more like: I am still on UK time so I am exhausted at 8pm and 4am feels like 9am. Not a bad sleep schedule anyway, since that's around the time I'll need to wake up once I start working that good old 8 to 5.......

I wish I could say that my natural circadian rhythm is the only thing that woke me up this morning.... it was a night of strange and tumultuous dreams! First I was having a screaming match with my mother and father over how much they didn't support me through something--it might have been college. Or sports. I don't know, I can't really remember--it was some life experience that I resent them for subconsciously.

Next thing I knew I was Batman's assistant, and I was trying to tell him that the Joker Girl (you know in the cartoon there was that one baddie who was a girl dressed up in a court jester outfit?? I think that might have been in Batman Beyond, the cartoon where the bat was a teenager named Terry and it was the future Gotham City and Bruce Wayne was a lonely old dying man...?) had put a homing device on his glider thingy and all of the baddies would be able to find us, but noooo Batman wanted to sleep! So I felt around in the dark and found it stuck to the glider--but it didn't seem to be powered on yet. As I ran to the back window to toss the tracker, it suddenly lit up blue and started beeping! It took me all of five minutes to open the window, and it was one of the kinds that only crack open, so I couldn't even toss it very far--I had to just drop it out, so I knew it would be right next to our building! As I was tossing, I heard sounds like the baddies were upon us, so I ran to shake Mr. Wayne from his slumber--to no avail..... then I woke up. It was kinda scary! I'm guessing that my excitement for the highly anticipated Dark Knight triggered that one.....

    It was all very strange.

    ...And yes, I was animated.
